The Pine City Area Clinic, Lakeside
Medical Center and Allina Medical Clinic - Pine City are all located
in the community. The Pine City Area Clinic, recipient of Minnesota's
first "Essential Community Provider" designation, boasts state of the
art x-ray and laboratory equipment and has a same-day surgery center.
Lakeside Medical Center provides comprehensive short and long term
health care services. Five other hospitals in the surrounding area
give residents ample choice in health care.
Education is a top priority in Pine City!
About 1,700 students are enrolled in Pine City Public Schools.
St. Mary's Catholic School offers classes for grades kindergarten
through six.
Pine City also offers a community
education program, Head Start for qualifying preschool children, and
a cooperative nursery school. Pine Technical College,
one of Minnesota's
36 college campuses, offers over 50 certificate,
diploma or degree majors in business, computers, health services and
